Nephrology CKD and Dialysis Management

If you have chronic kidney disease (CKD), you can take steps to protect your kidneys from more damage.

The sooner you know you have kidney disease, the better.

The steps you take to protect your kidneys from damage also may help prevent heart disease and improve your overall health. Making these changes may be hard, but it’s worthwhile; at CCDC we're with you every step of the way, providing client tailored dialysis and disease management.

Endocrinology

Endocrinology is the study of hormones. Hormones are essential for our every-day survival. They control our temperature, sleep, mood, stress, growth and more.

Dietetics and Nutrition

Nephrology nutrition encompasses therapeutic and preventive nutrition care for individuals through their life and addresses a variety of kidney disorders.

Most nephrology nutrition practice focuses on care of individuals with CKD, those on dialysis, and recipients of kidney transplants. A renal dietitian educates and empowers people with any kind of kidney condition to implement thoughtfull food and drink choices that support their health.

24H Ambulatory BP Monitor
Nephrologists are hypertension experts, trained in the evaluation and treatment of high blood pressure.
With the clinic's latest German BP Monitor, our experienced Cardiac Technician will install the portable monitor to measure your blood pressure at regular intervals over a 24h period while you undergo normal daily activities, including sleep.
If you have CKD, high blood pressure will more likely worsen your kidney disease and you will have heart problems.
Following your treatment plan and keeping your blood pressure controlled can help keep your kidney disease from progressing and prevent heart disease.
